An Introduction to the Model for Great Teaching
The Great Teaching Toolkit aims to help teachers take ownership of their learning, for the benefit of their students. Developed by Evidence Based Education in the UK, the Crowther Centre is bringing the toolkit to Australia.
Join us for a one-day masterclass where we’ll provide an overview of the Model for Great Teaching which lies at the heart of the Toolkit. We’ll introduce key dimensions and elements of great teaching as well as strategies to support the implementation of the Great Teaching Toolkit in your school.
Presented by Dr Mark Dowley and Ollie Lovell, you’ll learn how to:
- Develop teacher practice in areas and ways that are most likely to improve outcomes for students
- Create communities of practice, common professional language and a shared structure for great teaching
- Personalise professional development for individual teachers.
