Bookclub – Year 12 Parents and students

Reading your child’s school English texts can be a rewarding way of connecting with him and his learning. Taking the time to read the books he is studying sends a powerful message of support. Parents can discover more about the benefits of raising a reader through our book clubs.

The aim is to help demystify English and give you a perspective informed by the Study Design from which to have meaningful discussions with your son. At the beginning of the evening, we will provide an overview of the Area of Study and briefly outline some of the ideas we are covering in class. There will then be an informal opportunity for you to have great conversations about the text.
