Kristen Molloy’s role within Brighton Grammar School is very much one of collaboration; aligning the academic with that of student wellbeing and personal development.
As Associate Head of the Crowther Centre, Literacy and Engagement, Kristen draws upon her graduate studies in English and Psychotherapy as well as her extensive experience in renowned single-sex schools as Head of English, to promote the co-dependence between academic achievement and the students’ personal growth.
The whole School approach to the rounded education of the boys, in particular Literacy, is also fostered by Kristen through her workshops, information sessions and in the development of research-based support for parents.
She works with teachers to identify areas of need and develops evidence-based teaching and learning programs and strategies to increase literacy across all curriculum areas.
