Rebecca Taylor

As Brighton Grammar’s Director of Teaching and Learning for the Junior School, Rebecca provides strategic leadership to ensure excellence in teaching practice and student learning outcomes across ELC to Year 6.

In this role, Rebecca drives curriculum development and implementation, ensuring alignment with best practice and contemporary educational research. She leads professional learning initiatives, including workshops and coaching, to build teacher capacity and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Through data-informed decision-making, Rebecca oversees assessment practices and guides staff in using evidence to enhance student progress.

A key aspect of her role is instructional leadership. Rebecca collaborates with teachers and leaders to refine pedagogy, support planning processes, and ensure curriculum documentation reflects high standards. She champions innovation in teaching and learning, integrating approaches that engage and challenge students.
