Year 10 parents and students

As your child moves into their senior years of schooling, reading continues to be the single most important factor in improving educational outcomes. Students who read achieve higher marks in assessments, are more confident in class and develop superior comprehension and writing skills than non-readers.

Research into reading suggests that attitudes to reading are predominantly created in the home. If children have positive associations with reading, they are more likely to read more.

With that in mind, we hope you will join us for our Year 10 Parent bookclub to talk about George Orwell’s Animal Farm, learn about the skills your boys need for VCE English and hopefully have some fun!

Please join us for this parent workshop to hear from:

– Year 10 English staff
